Joris Relaes is landbouweconoom. Hij werkte als kabinetschef bij verschillende ministers van Omgeving en Landbouw. Vandaag staat hij aan het hoofd van ILVO, het Instituut voor Landbouw-, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek.
